Vaijayanti Karki

Vaijayanti Karki, the president of AMK is a women activist and has been actively involved in the field of SRH, community mobilization, Gender Based Violence and girls/women empowerment for more than 30 years during which she has successfully led several projects as the Project Chief of “Aama Milan Kendra”. She has also worked as a free-lance consultant for institutions such as the United Nations in the past and also has experience of working as a government employee from 1982-1992. She has a Master’s degree in Business administration and a Bachelor’s degree in law and education. She is the Secretary of Women Security Pressure Group (WSPG) and former National coordinator of Girls Not Brides Nepal.
